In modules 65 + 30 + 35, the choice was between a drawer and shelf with a hinged door in module 65, a drawer and shelves in module 30, and a full door with three shelves in module 35.
Light and armored
We use a corrosion-protected aluminum alloy with high fatigue strength, ductility, and bendability, with a thickness of 1 to 2 mm, to produce furniture. Design starts in the latest version of Solid Works software, laser cutting, and bending are controlled by precision monitoring and measuring equipment, so the fit of the components has a tolerance of less than 0.7 mm.

Moon Kitchen 2.0 is a furniture set for self-assembly. The precision of the construction elements makes it easy to assemble any module in less than 2 hours with basic assembly skills. To assemble a module, all you need is a screwdriver/driver, a socket spanner, and an Allen. Sometimes a protractor is also useful. Many components, such as guides or reinforcements, have already been partially assembled in our factory.
Silence on board
There is nothing worse than creaking furniture in a car, boat, or barge. We understand this very well, which is why all aluminum joints in the Moon Kitchen 2.0 furniture have been isolated using special fabric seals. This solution not only dampens but also improves the flexibility of the furniture, which is exposed to overloading, tilting, and vibrations

The 4.5 cm adjustment will allow the kitchen to fit the sides of almost any vehicle, boat or barge.
*Only in Module 65 the rear walls are not adjustable.

Moon Kitchen 2.0 is part of the entire Van Der Moon furniture system. Therefore, all our products will be available in similar color variants. The Moon Kitchen is now available in 4 colors*. The thermosetting powder paint we use to varnish the entire structure is extremely resistant to impact, abrasion, moisture, UV radiation, or temperature changes. The entire painting process takes place in the Vitberg/Van Der Moon factory, under strictly controlled conditions with full safety guarantees for the operator.

Upholstered - the front trims are made of lightweight plywood, upholstered with waterproof material with high resistance to abrasion. They can be cleaned using common cleaning products without chlorine, alcohol, or added solvents. It is an elegant, soft, and pleasant-to-the-touch finish for kitchen fronts. Available in all Van der Moon colors, they will go perfectly with the Moon Box and Moon Organiser.
Wooden - we made these by gluing together natural oak veneer with lightweight plywood. The whole has been painted three times with yacht varnish.
A professional metal lever lock was used to close the fronts, combining durability and strength, guaranteeing solid protection against accidental opening. It is only available in black.

Moon Kitchen 2.0 is our most durable and versatile kitchen for a van, yacht, boat, barge, or house on the water. It enchants with its versatility and build quality. We have designed it to fit into many interiors.
In addition to the construction colours and front finishes, the 55, 40, 35 and 30 cm Modules have a choice of different configurations and functionalities. You can configure each Module independently of the others, and the possibility of configuring the whole is really impressive. When creating the individual Modules, we thought about the fact that you can change the layout of your cabinets at any time. Today you need three drawers, tomorrow you will need a whole door with three shelves. You don't have to replace the entire cabinet - just order the shelves and door and you will have the same cabinet, either with drawers or shelves as you wish. Likewise with doors to the right or left side.

Module 55 with sink
Each module has its own top. When the modules are connected to each other, the tops fit tightly together, leaving a technical micro-gap. This is necessary so that the tops can work against each other while the vehicle is in motion. We coat the tops three times on each side, so even if a little moisture gets into the gap, the tops are still safe.

Module 65 of the Moon Kitchen 2.0 product family is an innovative bolt-on kitchen module with space for a cooker, sink, fridge, additional table or cargo drawer, organizer, and folding waste basket. Made of 90 % high-quality resistant and lightweight aluminum. It has two recesses for under-counter drawers or shelves with drop-down doors. If you do not use the cargo drawer, you will be installing a free-standing refrigerator yourself with the following maximum dimensions: H: 56.1.0 cm D: 62.1 cm, W: 44.1 cm (not including the refrigerator's decorative flange). The module is available in two versions, for cars with loading doors on the right or left side of the vehicle (cars for the UK, AU, IN, ID, NZ markets).

Module 65 is available with or without a top. The top is made of aluminum-reinforced plywood and finished with lacquered oak veneer. It is possible to install the sink on the right or left side of the module. The sink set does not include a mixer tap.
Front variants
Module 65 is prepared for the installation of drawers or shelves with hinged doors, which are mounted in place of the sink to maximize the use of storage space. In addition, we have prepared the Moon Set textile organizers (described under accessories).
Cargo drawer
The Cargo drawer is a large drawer mounted on the right or left side of Module 65. It creates space for the installation of e.g. a touring fridge with maximum dimensions: B: 37.10 mm H: 44.60 mm L: 60.00 mm and a weight of up to 30 kg. Installing the refrigerator in the cargo drawer will allow you to use it both from outside and inside the car. The drawer is lockable with a strong lock that will not allow it to open, even when driving on difficult terrain. The cargo back is adjustable by +/- 15 cm, allowing you to adjust the space for the fridge to suit its dimensions.
Table
When module 65 is mounted in the door of your van, you gain an ideal place for an additional table for cooking outside (with the car's side door open). We made the table by gluing natural oak veneer to birch plywood. The whole thing was painted three times with yacht varnish.
Finishing
We prepared Moon Kitchen 2.0 in 4 construction colors: dark grey, ecru, green down, and dark nut brown. The fronts are available in wood or upholstered finishes in the colors of other Van Der Moon products (Moon Box and Moon Organiser) and oak veneer. All drawers and cabinets are secured with a special lock to ensure safety during travel.
Accessories
All Moon Kitchen drawers can be fitted with a Moon Pack, which is a drawer organizer with a quick unfolding system. Each Moon Pack has a handle, making it easy to pull out of the drawer and take to a picnic. In addition, Module 65 can be equipped with the Moon Pocket and Moon Bin, which are textile organizers for essentials, and a wastebasket with a handle and space for bags.

Tourist or stationary fridge?
The 65 module is prepared for the installation of a stationary refrigerator or a touring fridge in the cargo module. To mount a stationary refrigerator, you will need to cut a hole in the right or left side of the 65 module. The best way to do this is to use an aluminum saw blade.
